Submission Rules for Classic Assessments
This guide describes the submission rules for Classic (long-form writing) assessment tasks within Cadmus

Standard Classic Cadmus Assessment
This is the most common assessment type in Cadmus. Students usually have multiple days or weeks to complete their work and must submit before the final due date.

Classic Cadmus Assessment with Drafting
With Cadmus, Drafting can be enabled for an assessment to allow students to submit a draft before making their final submissions. Read more about drafting.

Time-limited Classic Cadmus Assessment
With Cadmus, you can set a time limit for students' completion time.

Exams
With Cadmus Exams, a time limit can also be applied to control how long students have to complete the assessment.

Tip: Dates and times in the Teacher Environment are shown in the local timezone of the person viewing Cadmus. This means the same deadline may appear differently for teachers in different regions, while still referring to the same actual submission time.
