Using spell check

Learn how to use Cadmus spell check or turn it on and off.

Cadmus has a built-in spell checker, that marks misspelled words in red. While Cadmus doesn’t check grammar yet, you can use Grammarly with Cadmus for more advanced suggestions. 

To use spell-check

1. Right-click on a misspelled word (highlighted in red)
2. Select the correct spelling suggestion

To turn spell check on or off

1. Click on the Settings icon

2. Click Disable Cadmus Spell Check or Enable Cadmus Spell Check
