LTI Request Error

If you're seeing this error, Cadmus couldn't connect to the Learning Management System (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) to open your assignment. 

Potential causes

  • Cadmus isn’t being accessed directly via the Learning Management System.
  • Cadmus may have been set up incorrectly in your Learning Management System.
  • Cadmus doesn't recognise the user role passed by the Learning Management System.

To fix this problem:

  1. Log out from the Learning Management System (LMS).
  2. Close and reopen your browser.
  3. Log back into your LMS and access Cadmus through your LMS (not through a bookmark or URL).
