In this article, we'll cover how to:

Sync extensions for Cadmus assessments

To sync extensions to Cadmus assessments:

  1. Add the final due, feedback return due date, and extensions for a group of/individual students to the assessment settings page on your LMS. In the example below, the student Idris Elba will be given an extended due date.

  6. If extensions have already been granted in Cadmus, you will be asked to choose between the following options:
    1. Sync without replacing existing extensions or,
    2. Override and replace.
  7. Click on the extensions smart filter to view the list of students who’ve been granted extensions.

    Check Extension List

NOTE: For Moodle LMS, the extensions sync can be done both automatically when students launch Cadmus or via single click of the Sync from LMS button. For Canvas, the extensions can be synced with a single click of the Sync from LMS button.

NOTE:

1. Since Cadmus exams can be delivered together at the same time or at the student’s preferred time within a window, the Use LMS dates feature won’t be available in the settings section.

2. Most LMSs don’t allow the option of adding extra time. In such a case, you’d have to grant students additional time in Cadmus itself.

3. Extensions and special considerations can only be synced from Canvas and Moodle LMS. This feature is not yet available for Blackboard or D2L Brightspace LMS users.
