Auto-submission in Cadmus Exams
Auto-submission is an exam-specific feature in Cadmus that ensures student work is submitted automatically at the end of the exam.
How auto-submission works
When auto-submission is enabled, Cadmus will automatically submit a student’s work once their writing time ends.

When this feature is turned on, it means:
- Students do not need to manually click Submit
- The most recent saved version of their work will be submitted
- Students will see a confirmation once submission is complete
If auto-submission is not enabled, students will have to manually submit their work.
What is included in the submission
- All content written or all answers selected in the Cadmus Editor or Workspace during the exam
- Any saved edits made before the timer ends
Important considerations
- Auto-submission happens immediately when writing time ends
- Students should have Cadmus page opened and remain connected to the internet to ensure their latest work is saved
