Learn how to manage and use access codes for Cadmus exams
Access codes are unique entry codes that can be used to control access, conduct secure exams, and enhance academic integrity. When enabled, students will need to input the code they receive to access the exam.
The Access code requirement setting can be switched on from the Instructions section in Cadmus, under Requirements and settings.
Codes are designed to be shared with your students. When access codes are enabled, a single code is automatically generated for you. To create more codes, click on the Generate More button.
To copy a single code, click the Copy icon on the right. You can also click Copy all codes to copy all of your codes in one go.
You have the option to label the codes for ease of reference. By default, every code generated will have a label in the format ‘Exam Code 1’, and so on.
When students click on the exam link from their LMS, they will see the following pop-up asking for the access code to be entered.
